Kimberly Schwartz first began her love affair with dance as a small child when, while listening to Elton John’s “Carla Etude” announced that she saw ballet in her head. A progressively intensified training at the American Theater Dance Workshop in New Hyde Park, New York and the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in Torrington Connecticut resulted in a scholarship at University Nevada Las Vegas’ prestigious dance program where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Performance and Teaching and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography.
Kim’s passion for dance and the arts saw her excel in Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Modern Dance, Musical Theater, Tap, and Theater Dance. She started teaching professionally after college. Through her career she has gotten certified in Zumba instruction and has achieved multiple Top Teacher awards. She now focuses on teaching and training her staff and feels that her best accomplishments are the ones that can be seen in the progress and happiness of her students. Her dream of training all ages to enjoy and experience the world of rhythmic movement has culminated in her opening Excalibur Dance Studio in Melville New York where music and dance come alive for all.
